Auf Grund des § 5 Abs. 1 Z 6 des Bundesgesetzes über das Bundesgesetzblatt 2004 (BGBlG), BGBl. I Nr. 100/2003 idgF, wird kundgemacht:Auf Grund des Paragraph 5, Absatz eins, Ziffer 6, des Bundesgesetzes über das Bundesgesetzblatt 2004 (BGBlG), Bundesgesetzblatt Teil eins, Nr. 100 aus 2003, idgF, wird kundgemacht:

Durch Beschlüsse der Versammlung der Madrider Union im Rahmen der Verwaltungskörperkonferenzen (Governing Bodies) der Weltorganisation für geistiges Eigentum (WIPO) im Herbst 2021 wurde die Ausführungsordnung zum Protokoll zum Madrider Abkommen über die internationale Registrierung von Marken (BGBl. III Nr. 34/2020, zuletzt geändert durch BGBl. III Nr. 11/2021) mit Wirkung vom 1. November 2021 wie folgt geändert:Durch Beschlüsse der Versammlung der Madrider Union im Rahmen der Verwaltungskörperkonferenzen (Governing Bodies) der Weltorganisation für geistiges Eigentum (WIPO) im Herbst 2021 wurde die Ausführungsordnung zum Protokoll zum Madrider Abkommen über die internationale Registrierung von Marken Bundesgesetzblatt Teil 3, Nr. 34 aus 2020,, zuletzt geändert durch Bundesgesetzblatt Teil 3, Nr. 11 aus 2021,) mit Wirkung vom 1. November 2021 wie folgt geändert:

In such a case, the effective date of the appointment shall be the date on which the International Bureau received the international application, request or separate communication in which the representative is appointed.

    Rule 5Excuse in Delay in Meeting Time Limits

  • (1)Absatz eins[Excuse in Delay in Meeting Time Limits due to Force Majeure Reasons] Failure by an interested party to meet a time limit specified in the Regulations to perform an action before the International Bureau shall be excused if the interested party submits evidence showing, to the satisfaction of the International Bureau, that such failure was due to war, revolution, civil disorder, strike, natural calamity, irregularities in postal, delivery or electronic communication services owing to circumstances beyond the control of the interested party or other force majeure reason.(i)Absatz i[Deleted]
