Bundesgesetz, mit dem das Universitäts-Organisationsgesetz (UOG) geändert wird
Der Nationalrat hat beschlossen:
Das Bundesgesetz vom 11. April 1975, BGBl. Nr. 258, über die Organisation der Universitäten, zuletzt geändert durch das Bundesgesetz BGBl. Nr. 509/1995, wird wie folgt geändert:

Im § 2 Abs. 2 lit. c wird der Punkt am Ende der lit. c durch einen Strichpunkt ersetzt und folgende lit. d angefügt:,,
d) Verträge über die Durchführung von Untersuchungen und Befundungen im Auftrag Dritter abzuschließen,
wenn sie der wissenschaftlichen Forschung dienen.“

Nach § 2 wird folgender § 2a eingefügt:
„§ 2a. (1) Die Universitäten sind ermächtigt, mit Genehmigung des Bundesministers für Wissenschaft,
Verkehr und Kunst Vereinbarungen mit anderen Rechtsträgern über die Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Lehre abzuschließen.
(2)  (Verfassungsbestimmung) Die betreffenden Studien und Prüfungen können zur Gänze oder zum Teil auch außerhalb des österreichischen Staatsgebietes abgehalten werden, wenn dies im Hinblick auf die Erfordernisse der internationalen Zusammenarbeit zweckmäßig ist.
(3) Der Abschluß von Vereinbarungen gemäß Abs. 1 ist zulässig, wenn hiedurch der gemäß den Studienvorschriften von der Universität durchzuführende Lehr- und Prüfungsbetrieb nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Die Vereinbarung hat insbesondere den Ersatz der Kosten durch den anderen Rechtsträger an die Universität zu regeln. Die eingenommenen Geldmittel sind im Sinne des § 17 Abs. 5 des Bundeshaushaltsgesetzes zweckgebunden für die Erfüllung der Aufgaben der Universität gemäß § 1 Abs. 3 zu verwenden.“
